ABOUT WITCH HAZEL NURSERY
The Nursery is wholesale only, producing a range of young plants of choice trees and shrubs by grafting and cuttings on a contract basis to other nurseries, which supply the garden centre industry. The nursery specialises in Hamamelis and contains one of the three National Plant Collections, these are all planted in rows for easy viewing and comparison and over 500 plants are on display. These are assessed on a regular basis by the Woody Plant Trials Committee of the Royal Horticultural Society, and after judging worthy plants are given the Award of Garden Merit.
The nursery is only open by appointment to view the collection,
the open days are there at peak viewing time and people are encouraged
to come if at all possible on these days.

come first served basis.
